Employee & Organizational Development

Employee Services' Employee & Organizational Development offers all levels of training in computer software applications to A&M System employees, including open enrollment classes for faculty and staff and scheduled one-on-one training. Classes typically contain 3-9 hours of instruction, and regularly scheduled classes carry Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits.

You can maximize your productivity by learning new applications, skills, tips, and techniques at our training facilities with courses in areas that include:

  • Office productivity - Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint
  • Professional productivity - EndNote, Project, Visio
  • Graphic design - Photoshop, Fireworks, Illustrator
  • Web site design - Dreamweaver, Flash, HTML, CSS
  • Desktop publishing - InDesign, Acrobat, Publisher

Employee & Organizational Development offers computer classes at no charge for faculty, teaching assistants, and staff using technology in their instruction of Texas A&M academic courses or in course development.

To take classes as part of this program, you need to submit information explaining what academic courses, semester, and objectives the training will be used to support.

Employee & Organizational Development also offers one-on-one and specialized departmental training, both of which provide the services of a personal computer tutor at your facility or theirs. Customized, individualized, and hands-on, these two types of training are ideal for those who are short on time, have specific questions or needs, or want a quick refresher.
