Computer viruses, Internet worms, and Trojans have become so common that no one can afford to ignore them and the damage they can cause. Prevention and awareness are the keys to dealing with these problems.
Make sure you have an up-to-date antivirus program to keep your computer protected from getting infected from email attachments and files you may download from the Internet. Antivirus software is available at no charge at software.tamu.edu.
