Monthly Code Maroon Test Friday to Include Classroom Speakers

The monthly Code Maroon test will occur on Friday (March 25) at 12:30 p.m. Code Maroon will also test the classroom alert speakers installed in more than 260 registrar-controlled classrooms. These speakers broadcast Code Maroon alerts through audio speakers providing an additional notification method in an emergency. Code Maroon is Texas A&M's emergency notification system and uses multiple notification methods in a best effort to reach campus members in an emergency - by SMS text message, Texas A&M Email (Neo), KAMU-FM radio, campus cable television, Emergency Alert System radios, Twitter and RSS.
