Information Technology Advisory Committee

Campus advisory committee supports collaboration and cooperation among central and distributed campus IT.

Campus IT personnel face many challenges in delivering services and supporting their customers. To address these demands, gathering perspectives from across the university, sharing resources, coordinating efforts, and arriving at collective decisions on IT- and security-related issues are vitally important. The Information Technology Advisory Committee facilitates this collaborative approach and increases communication across the campus IT community. The committee includes representatives from the university's academic and administrative areas. It meets on second and fourth Thursdays to identify common IT issues, review and evaluate solutions, and provide recommendations to form security policies and operational decisions with the Vice President and Associate Provost for Information Technology.
