IT Grants Fund Student Computing Improvements
The Computer Access/Instructional Technology Fees (CA/ITF) Competitive Grant and Classroom Instructional Technology Matching Grant programs fund proposals that positively impact the student instructional computing environment.
Dr. Pierce Cantrell, Vice President & Associate Provost for Information Technology, said $200,000 will be available for proposals that support student instructional computing for fiscal year 2009. Also, $193,000 will be distributed in matching funds for departments and colleges to upgrade classroom technology.
During each of the 14 previous years of these programs, many high quality proposals have been submitted and funded. More information about these grants can be viewed at http://vpapit.tamu.edu/Home/Services/Grant_Programs.php.
