Computing & Information Services was recognized as a Campus Technology Innovator for the successful deployment of Texas A&M University Email. The new system delivers updated email and full-featured collaboration tools. The extensive conversion, which involved moving 80,000 mailboxes and millions of messages, occurred smoothly with relatively few problems.

The Campus Technology Innovators award recognizes higher education information technology advances on North American college and university campuses. Texas A&M was one of 14 winners selected from 275 nominations. The university is featured in the August 2008 issue of Campus Technology (see the article at http://campustechnology.com/articles/65883).
